You save over $1,100/year
Cable television in Canada ranks among the most expensive in the developed world. A standard Bell Fibe or Rogers TV tier regularly exceeds $100 a month before you add equipment rental, installation, and the annual price increase buried in the renewal notice. IPTV Canada delivers the same live channels — and tens of thousands more — over the home broadband connection you are already paying for, at a fraction of the cost.
An IPTV Canada service works by routing live television over your existing internet connection rather than a dedicated cable or satellite network. Because there is no physical infrastructure running down Canadian streets and into homes, the savings are real and immediate. OntarioIPTV.ca passes those savings directly to subscribers with plans starting at $39.99 CAD for three full months — less than what most Bell customers pay in a single week.
The quality of an IPTV Canada subscription depends on the server infrastructure behind it. OntarioIPTV.ca operates on high-performance servers tuned for the ISPs Canadians actually use — Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, and regional providers across the country. Channel feeds come from licensed and authorized sources. Support is based in Ontario and available Monday through Saturday during Eastern Time hours, so you reach someone who knows Canadian internet infrastructure and your time zone.
For a household in Toronto, Ottawa, or Hamilton running the same comparison, the channel math is hard to argue with. OntarioIPTV.ca's 12-Month Plan at $89.99 CAD includes CBC, CTV, Global, CP24, CityTV, all five TSN feeds, every regional Sportsnet channel, TVA, Radio-Canada, and hundreds of local broadcast feeds — on top of 8,000+ international channels and 150+ 4K streams. A comparable Bell Fibe package for the same 12 months runs over $1,000, locked into a two-year contract.
Picking the right IPTV Canada plan comes down to two variables: how long you want to subscribe, and how many screens need to run simultaneously. The 3-month option works well for households testing the service before committing. The 12 and 24-month plans each include two simultaneous connections, making them the natural pick for families with more than one TV. Every plan — regardless of length — delivers access to the full channel lineup from the first day.

IPTV Canada FAQ — Answered by OntarioIPTV.ca
25 questions covering everything about IPTV Canada — plans, channels, devices, and support. Can't find what you need? Ask our Ontario team.
IPTV Canada (Internet Protocol Television) delivers live TV channels over your existing home broadband connection instead of a dedicated cable or satellite line. Your internet provider — Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, or any other Canadian ISP — already delivers enough bandwidth for HD and 4K streaming, so no new infrastructure is needed.
OntarioIPTV.ca operates exclusively with licensed and authorized content sources, working within applicable Canadian broadcasting and telecommunications guidelines. Every plan is sold with full pricing transparency, a published refund policy, and real contact information you can verify before you subscribe. There are no grey-area promises here.
How it works in practice:
- You subscribe to a plan and receive login credentials by email
- You enter those credentials into a free IPTV app (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters, VLC)
- Your app connects to our high-performance server and loads 30,000+ live channels
- You watch on any device — Smart TV, Firestick, iPhone, Android, PC, or Mac
Setup takes under 10 minutes for most customers. Request a free trial to test the service on your own devices before committing to a plan.
Netflix, Disney+, and Crave are on-demand streaming services — you browse a library and watch whenever you want. IPTV Canada delivers live television — the same real-time broadcasts you used to get from cable, with channels that air at a scheduled time, including live sports, breaking news, and live events.
The two are not competitors — many households use both. The key differences:
- Live TV: IPTV Canada includes TSN, Sportsnet, CBC, CTV, CP24, and 30,000+ live channels. Netflix has none of these.
- Sports: NHL, CFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS air live on IPTV Canada. Streaming services do not carry live sports rights.
- News: CP24, CBC News Network, and regional news are live on IPTV Canada — not available on Netflix.
- French Canadian content: TVA, Radio-Canada, RDS, and Noovo are included in every IPTV Canada plan.
- Cost: OntarioIPTV.ca starts at $39.99 CAD for 3 months — less than one month of cable.
With OntarioIPTV.ca you also get catch-up TV (7–30 days of on-demand replays depending on your plan), so you get the best of both worlds — live TV plus the ability to watch missed content. Compare all IPTV Canada plans →
Three things separate OntarioIPTV.ca from other IPTV Canada providers:
1. Ontario-based support team
Our support team is based in Ontario and available Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern Time — your time zone. When you contact us, you reach a real person who understands Canadian internet infrastructure, knows the ISPs you use, and can resolve most issues in the same session. No overseas call centres, no ticket queues that take days.
2. Servers built for Canadian broadband
Our high-performance server infrastructure is optimized for the ISPs Canadians actually use — Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, Telus, and regional providers. Channel feeds are sourced from licensed and authorized content providers, ensuring stable, legal delivery. Most of our competitors host on generic international servers that were not built for Canadian ISP traffic patterns.
3. Complete transparency
Published pricing with no hidden fees. A written 7-day refund policy. Real contact information — phone, email, and WhatsApp — that you can verify before you ever pay anything. No grey-area promises about "legal" content that turns out not to be. Read our full story →

Yes — French Canadian channels are included in every plan at no extra cost. OntarioIPTV.ca serves bilingual households across Quebec, Ontario, and the rest of Canada.
French channels included:
- TVA — the most-watched French television network in Canada
- Radio-Canada — CBC's French-language service
- Noovo — formerly V télé, general entertainment
- RDS & RDS2 — French-language sports (Habs games, CFL, soccer)
- TVA Sports — NHL, UFC, and more in French
- TV5 Monde — international French content
- Unis TV — French Canadian culture and arts
Beyond these major networks, the plan includes 300+ additional French-language channels covering news, kids programming, lifestyle, documentary, and international French content from Europe and Africa. Whether your household speaks only French, only English, or both, OntarioIPTV.ca covers the full spectrum without add-on packages.
OntarioIPTV.ca includes over 8,000 international channels across 60+ languages — all included in every plan at no extra cost. Canada's diverse households are fully represented.
International channel categories:
- South Asian: Hindi (Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors), Punjabi (PTC Punjabi, MH1), Tamil (Sun TV, Vijay), Urdu (Geo News, ARY Digital), Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam
- Arabic: MBC1, MBC Drama, Al Jazeera, Rotana Cinema, Al Arabiya, and 200+ Arabic channels

- Filipino: TFC, GMA Pinoy TV, One News
- Other languages: Spanish, Polish, Persian/Farsi, Romanian, Vietnamese, Korean, and more
Every international channel is included in all plans — 3-month through 24-month. No language add-ons, no extra fees. This is a major advantage over Canadian cable, where international packages cost $15–$30 extra per month per language group.
Yes — 150+ 4K Ultra HD channels are included in every OntarioIPTV.ca plan at no extra cost. You do not need to upgrade to a special tier to access 4K content.
What you need for 4K streaming:
- A 4K TV or monitor — most TVs sold in Canada since 2018 are 4K-capable
- 50 Mbps or faster download speed — for smooth, uninterrupted 4K playback
- A wired ethernet connection — strongly recommended for 4K; Wi-Fi can cause buffering at 4K bitrates
- A capable streaming device — Firestick 4K, Fire TV Cube, Nvidia Shield, or Android TV box with 4K support
- TiviMate or IPTV Smarters — both support 4K HDR playback with hardware decoding
Not all 30,000+ channels broadcast in 4K — the 150+ 4K channels are premium sports events, nature documentaries, and 4K movie feeds. The majority of the lineup is in Full HD (1080p). If your TV and connection support it, your IPTV app will automatically display the 4K streams at their full resolution. For internet speed recommendations by quality tier, see our speed requirements guide.
OntarioIPTV.ca works on every major device category — one subscription covers your entire household with no per-device fees.
Supported devices:
- Smart TVs: Samsung (Tizen OS), LG (webOS), Sony (Android TV), Hisense (Android TV), TCL
- Amazon: Firestick (all generations), Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Edition smart TVs
- Android TV / Google TV: Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box, Chromecast with Google TV, any Android TV box
- Apple: iPhone (iOS 13+), iPad (iPadOS 13+), Apple TV (via IPTV Smarters for tvOS)
- Android phones & tablets: Android 8.0 and above, any manufacturer
- Windows PC: Windows 10 and 11 — use VLC, Perfect Player, or IPTV Smarters for Windows
- Mac: macOS 10.14 and above — use VLC or IPTV Smarters for Mac
You are not limited to one device. With the 12-Month or 24-Month plan, you get 2 simultaneous connections — two screens can stream different channels at the same time. All devices share the same credentials from your welcome email. See our full device compatibility guide →
For Amazon Firestick and Fire TV, we recommend two apps depending on your preference:
Option 1 — TiviMate (Recommended)
TiviMate is the best IPTV app for Firestick, hands down. It has a true TV-style interface with a full Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), favourite channel lists, adjustable buffer size for live sports, and support for multiple playlists. The free version is solid; TiviMate Premium (one-time purchase) adds recording, multi-screen panel, and advanced parental controls. The one downside: TiviMate requires sideloading via the Downloader app since it is not in the Amazon App Store.
Option 2 — IPTV Smarters Pro (No sideloading)
IPTV Smarters Pro installs directly from the Amazon App Store — no sideloading needed, which makes it easier for first-time users. It supports both M3U and Xtream Codes credentials, has a clean EPG, and works well for most households. It is our recommended starting point if you have never set up IPTV before.
How to choose:
- First-time IPTV user: start with IPTV Smarters Pro (easiest setup)
- Want the best TV-like experience: use TiviMate
- Live sports fan who wants buffer control: TiviMate is essential
Full step-by-step instructions for both apps are in our Firestick setup guide →
Setup on a Smart TV depends on which operating system your TV runs. Here is the quick guide for each:
Samsung Smart TV (Tizen OS)
Install Smart IPTV or SS IPTV from the Samsung App Store. Open the app, go to Settings, select your playlist type (M3U URL or Xtream Codes), and enter the credentials from your OntarioIPTV.ca welcome email. Channels load within seconds. Smart IPTV has a one-time $5.49 activation fee; SS IPTV is free.
LG Smart TV (webOS)
Install SS IPTV from the LG Content Store. The setup process mirrors Samsung — go to Settings, choose your input method, enter your M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials, and you are streaming within minutes. SS IPTV is free on LG.
Android TV / Google TV (Sony, Hisense, TCL)
Android TV is the most flexible Smart TV platform. Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro directly from the Google Play Store — no sideloading required. These apps give you the full TiviMate experience with EPG, favourites, and buffer control.
Tips for all Smart TVs:
- Connect via ethernet cable for the most stable live TV experience
- If channels buffer, lower the stream quality in the app settings first
- Restart your TV and router if you experience login issues
See our full Smart TV setup guide with screenshots →
Your internet connection is the single most important factor in your IPTV Canada experience. Here are the recommended speeds by stream quality:
- SD (480p): 5 Mbps minimum — rarely needed today
- HD (720p): 10 Mbps minimum, 15 Mbps recommended
- Full HD (1080p): 20 Mbps minimum, 25 Mbps recommended
- 4K Ultra HD: 40 Mbps minimum, 50 Mbps or faster recommended
If multiple people in your household stream simultaneously, multiply accordingly. Two people watching 1080p streams at the same time need at least 50 Mbps dedicated to streaming.
Wi-Fi vs ethernet:
A wired ethernet connection is always preferable to Wi-Fi for live TV. Wi-Fi introduces latency and packet loss that causes buffering, especially during high-bitrate content like live sports in 4K. If running a cable is not practical, use a powerline ethernet adapter or a Wi-Fi 6 access point positioned close to your streaming device.
Which Canadian ISPs work best:
Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, Telus, Videotron, and all major regional ISPs work reliably with OntarioIPTV.ca. Our servers are tuned for Canadian ISP traffic patterns. If you have 50+ Mbps and still experience buffering, the issue is almost always the home network — not the ISP or our servers.
OntarioIPTV.ca offers four IPTV Canada subscription plans, all currently 50% off:
- 3 Months — $39.99 CAD ($13.33/mo effective) · 1 connection · 7-day catch-up TV. Best for: new subscribers who want to try the full service before committing longer.
- 6 Months — $59.99 CAD ($10.00/mo effective) · 1 connection · 14-day catch-up TV. Best for: households that want good value without a full-year commitment.
- 12 Months — $89.99 CAD ($7.50/mo effective) · 2 connections · 30-day catch-up TV. Best for: families — most popular plan. Two screens stream simultaneously.
- 24 Months — $169.99 CAD ($7.08/mo effective) · 2 connections · 30-day catch-up TV + VIP support. Best for: committed cord-cutters who want the lowest possible monthly rate.
Every plan includes the full 30,000+ channel lineup in HD & 4K from day one. No channel tiers, no add-ons. All plans include the 7-day satisfaction guarantee. Compare plans in detail → or shop now →
The 12-Month Plan at $89.99 CAD is our most popular plan and the best value for most Canadian households. Here is why:
- Works out to $7.50 per month — less than what most Bell Fibe or Rogers customers pay in a single week
- Includes 2 simultaneous connections — two screens can watch different channels at the same time
- Includes 30 days of catch-up TV — watch anything aired in the last month on demand
- Costs less than one month of cable TV for an entire year of IPTV Canada
If you want the absolute lowest monthly rate, the 24-Month Plan at $169.99 CAD works out to $7.08/month — the same 2 connections and 30-day catch-up TV, plus VIP support. The trade-off is a larger upfront commitment.
If you are new to IPTV Canada and unsure, start with the 3-Month Plan ($39.99 CAD) to experience the service fully before committing to a longer term. You can always upgrade — contact support and we will apply a pro-rated credit for your unused time. Shop all IPTV Canada plans →
Yes — you can upgrade to a longer plan at any time during your subscription. The process is simple and you will never lose money on unused time.
When you request an upgrade, our support team calculates a pro-rated credit for the remaining days on your current plan and applies it toward the new plan. You only pay the difference. For example, if you have 45 days left on a 3-Month plan and want to upgrade to the 12-Month plan, we credit those 45 days and charge you accordingly.
To upgrade:
- Email us at ontarioiptvsupport@gmail.com with your account email and the plan you want to move to
- Or reach us via WhatsApp or phone — we process upgrades the same day during business hours
- Your credentials stay the same — no reinstallation needed on your devices
Downgrading (moving to a shorter plan) is not available mid-subscription, but you can choose a shorter plan when you renew. Contact our support team for any plan questions.
Yes — OntarioIPTV.ca offers a limited free trial for new customers who want to test the service before committing to a paid plan. The trial gives you real access to our server and the full channel lineup on your own devices — it is not a watered-down demo version.
What the trial includes:
- Full access to 30,000+ live channels
- HD and 4K streams on the same server as paid subscribers
- Works on Firestick, Smart TV, iPhone, Android — any supported device
- No credit card required to request the trial
The trial is a genuine test of the actual service — the same speed, same channels, same server performance you will get as a paying subscriber. We encourage you to test it during peak hours (weekday evenings) and during a live sports event to get a realistic sense of performance.
To request your trial: visit our Free Trial page → Fill in your name, email, and device type. Our sales team will send your trial credentials within a few hours during business hours (Mon–Sat, 8 AM–8 PM ET).
New subscribers have a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with the service within the first 7 days of your subscription, contact our support team and we will process a full refund — no lengthy interrogation, no run-around.
How to request a refund:
- Email ontarioiptvsupport@gmail.com within 7 days of your subscription start date
- Include your account email and a brief description of the issue
- We process refunds within 1–3 business days back to your original payment method
Partial refunds: After 7 days, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. If there is a service outage or a technical problem on our end that we cannot resolve, we will always work with you on a fair resolution — credit, extension, or refund.
We stand behind the service. If something is not working, we want to fix it first. Most issues are resolved in the same support session. See our full Refund Policy →
OntarioIPTV.ca accepts all major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed through a secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway — your card details are never stored on our servers.
Payment details:
- Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Currency: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) — no currency conversion surprises
- No auto-billing: You choose a duration and pay once. We do not auto-renew or charge your card again without your explicit request
- No hidden fees: The price you see on the plan page is the total you pay
- SSL encryption: All payment pages are secured with HTTPS/TLS encryption
We do not offer PayPal or cryptocurrency at this time. If you have questions about payment security or need a receipt, contact our team at ontarioiptvsupport@gmail.com and we will provide a full transaction record within one business day.
Most customers receive their M3U URL and Xtream Codes credentials by email within 2–4 hours of completing their subscription — often within the same hour during business hours (Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–8 PM ET).
Your welcome email includes:
- Your M3U playlist URL — paste this into any IPTV app that accepts M3U
- Your Xtream Codes server address, username, and password — for apps like TiviMate and IPTV Smarters
- A link to our step-by-step setup guide for your device
- Support contact details in case you need help with installation
If you have not received your credentials after 4 hours:
- Check your spam or junk mail folder first — our emails occasionally land there
- Add ontarioiptvsupport@gmail.com to your safe senders list
- Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email with your order confirmation — we will resend immediately
Subscriptions placed outside business hours (after 8 PM or on Sundays) are processed first thing the next business day. Contact support →
When you subscribe to OntarioIPTV.ca, you receive credentials in two formats — M3U and Xtream Codes. Both give you access to the same 30,000+ channels. The difference is how you connect your IPTV app to the server.
M3U (playlist URL):
A single URL that your IPTV app downloads to get the full channel list. You paste the URL into your app once and it loads everything automatically. M3U is the simplest format — if your app asks for a "playlist URL" or "M3U URL," this is what you need. Supported by virtually every IPTV app.
Xtream Codes (server + username + password):
Instead of a single URL, you enter three pieces of information: a server address (URL), a username, and a password. Xtream Codes is the more advanced format — it gives your app more control, faster channel list updates, and better EPG (programme guide) integration. TiviMate and IPTV Smarters work best with Xtream Codes.
Which should you use?
- TiviMate → use Xtream Codes for best EPG performance
- IPTV Smarters Pro → use Xtream Codes
- VLC Media Player → use M3U URL
- SS IPTV (Smart TV) → use M3U URL
- Not sure → use M3U — it works with everything
Yes — OntarioIPTV.ca is compatible with most major VPN services including ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Surfshark, and PIA. However, we recommend streaming without a VPN in most cases, and here is why:
Why you probably do not need a VPN:
- Our servers are already optimized for Canadian connections — Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, Telus all route cleanly to our infrastructure
- A VPN adds 20–80 ms of latency depending on the server location, which causes buffering on live sports and high-bitrate 4K streams
- VPN encryption overhead can reduce your effective bandwidth by 10–30%, turning a smooth 50 Mbps connection into an inconsistent 35 Mbps one
When a VPN makes sense:
- You are on a public Wi-Fi network (hotel, airport, coffee shop)
- Your ISP is known to throttle streaming traffic specifically
- You are travelling outside Canada and want to access the service
If you do use a VPN, connect to a Canadian server for the lowest latency. If you experience buffering with a VPN active, disable it and test — this confirms whether the VPN is the cause. Our service works in Canada without a VPN for the vast majority of subscribers.
Yes — IPTV Canada recording works in two ways: catch-up TV (built into your plan) and DVR-style recording (via your IPTV app).
Catch-up TV (included in your plan):
Catch-up TV lets you watch content that already aired without recording it yourself. Depending on your plan:
- 3-Month Plan: 7 days of catch-up TV
- 6-Month Plan: 14 days of catch-up TV
- 12-Month and 24-Month Plans: 30 days of catch-up TV
Catch-up TV is available on eligible channels — most major Canadian networks support it. You access it through your IPTV app by selecting a channel and navigating backwards in the EPG guide to a past time slot.
DVR-style recording (via TiviMate Premium):
TiviMate Premium (a one-time in-app purchase) adds live recording to local storage. You can schedule recordings from the EPG, set series recording for recurring shows, and build a personal library on an external USB drive connected to your Firestick or Android TV box. TiviMate Premium costs around $4.99 USD as a one-time fee — a significant upgrade for users who want full DVR functionality.
Note: DVR recording availability depends on the channel — some channels have recording restrictions at the stream level. Contact our support team for channel-specific guidance.
The number of simultaneous connections depends on your plan:
- 3-Month Plan ($39.99): 1 simultaneous connection
- 6-Month Plan ($59.99): 1 simultaneous connection
- 12-Month Plan ($89.99): 2 simultaneous connections — most popular for families
- 24-Month Plan ($169.99): 2 simultaneous connections + VIP support
With 2 connections, two people in your household can watch different channels at the same time on different devices. For example, one person watches the Leafs game on the living room Smart TV while another watches a movie on their bedroom Firestick — both on the same subscription.
How connections work in practice:
Each time someone opens a stream, it uses one connection slot. Pausing a stream and returning within a few minutes does not free the slot immediately. If you hit the connection limit, the second device will receive an error message until the first stream is closed or times out.
Need more than 2 simultaneous connections? Contact our sales team to discuss options for larger households.
Buffering is the most common IPTV Canada issue, and it is almost always fixable without changing your plan or service. Work through these steps in order:
- Check your internet speed — run a speed test. You need 25 Mbps for HD, 50 Mbps for 4K. If your speed is below this, contact your ISP.
- Switch to wired ethernet — plug your streaming device directly into your router with an ethernet cable. This single step eliminates the majority of buffering issues.
- Restart your router and device — power-cycle both, wait 30 seconds, and try again. Cache buildup causes many intermittent issues.
- Increase buffer size in TiviMate — go to Settings → Player → Buffer Size and set it to 10–15 seconds. This gives the player more data ahead of time to smooth over brief connection drops.
- Clear your app cache — on Firestick: Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → your IPTV app → Clear Cache.
- Try a different stream — some channels have multiple quality options. In TiviMate, long-press a channel to see alternative streams.
If buffering only happens at certain times of day (7–10 PM), your home router may be congested. Enable QoS (Quality of Service) in your router settings and prioritize your streaming device's MAC address. For a complete guide, see our buffering fix guide. Still stuck?
